Task Delivered/Solution
CHP appraisal study on behalf of ZWS to determine economic and technical feasibility at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Work included energy profiling, determination of appropriate CHP type, CHP sizing (including production of a Heat Load Duration Curve) and integration, financial appraisal, CHPQA analysis, a risk review and recommendations on ‘next steps’. Similar CHP analysis was also carried out on a secondary school for P&K Council, however, the work also included a biomass boiler appraisal which involved investigations into biomass fuel sourcing, boiler size, boiler location, fuel store and layout, permits and consents.
