In advance of all nine territorial forces being subsumed into Police Scotland, support provided to produce one overarching Carbon Management Plan for the new Force. Initial reviews of individual Forces Plans and of Estates Strategy. Meetings with Steering Group, SPA and other key stakeholders to discuss and agree on strategy and approach to delivery of the Plan and development and delivery of various workshops to staff. Identification and quantification of emission sources and carbon saving projects (Buildings, ICT and Fleet) and recommendations to strengthen internal processes to embed carbon management within the organisation. Subsequent support through bespoke action plans to achieve realistic cost and carbon savings. Completion of a Carbon Footprinting and Project Registers Tool to forecast emissions and help Police Scotland set realistic Carbon reduction targets.
New Carbon Management Plan produced with the aim to reduce their emissions by 25% by 2020 and 50% by 2030 (on a 2013/14 baseline).
